Easter in the UK is from Good Friday to Easter Monday, the same as in Poland! 

All holiday days are off! Moreover, on Easter Monday all shops are opened and have huge discounts! 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR COUNTRY AND BRITAIN?

- In Britain, people don't have the food blessed

- The British have a lot of street festivals on Holy Saturday.

- People from the UK organise eggs games :

St. Valentine's Day

14th Febraury all the  people from the whole world spend the same way. It' s a day for couples, friends but singles too.

On this day everyone makes love, kisses and  get or gives gifts.

St.Valentine's Day means an immense profit for shops - florists, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes.

Every year in the UK, special valentine kits and offers are created.  Romantic and cute films, books, clothes and even food are produced! Britons spend average 1.6  bilions pounds to please their darlings!!!!

This holiday, as any other  has specific symbols:

- red roses

- chocolates

- amour

- valentine cards

- kisses

- Saint Valentine

- hugs

- cute couples

- romantic atmosphere

In my view, the "holiday" is overrated! 

We should be friendly and kindly to each other every day, but unfortunately in fact it is quite conversely.

First day  of Spring

On Monday, 21st March like every year in our school the celebration of the first day of the spring took place. This is a tradition. On 21st March, on Monday students came to school with good moods. At school there was a performance prepared by the students. The performance was very funny and I think everyone liked it. After the performance we went to the cinema to watch “Pitbul”. This film is very violent. To much aggression, blood and killing but some people may have liked that. When the film ended everyone went home. I think it was a good day and students for a moment forgot about school.
