Gingerbread men

Ingredients:

3 glasses of wheat flour

1 spoon of ground cinnamon

1 spoon of ground ginger

½ spoon of ground clove

½ teaspoon of salt

2 spoons of milk

170g of butter

¾ teaspoon of baking soda

¾ glasses of treacle

¾ glasses of brown sugar

Preparation:

1. Mix wheat flour, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, clove, salt and baking soda in a bowl. Add butter - cut into small pieces and mix everething with a hand mixer. Add treacle and milk slowly. Mix as long as you get consistens dough.

2. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll the two parts. You schould have about a 6-7mm - thick dough (dough is glutinous so use baking paper to roll it) Put the dough into a fridge for two hours.

3. Heat the oven to 175 - 180℃

4. Take  the dough out. Carve gingerbread men using a mould. You can also carve other shapes.

5. Bake gingerbread mean for about 8-11 minutes. They should be tender inside.

6.You can use icing to decorate the gingerbread men.
